Why We Are Different
- Our sole focus is the financial institutions sector, in particular asset and wealth management, with significant experience and knowledge in finding solutions for the specific issues that arise with regards to capital-light people-based businesses.
- The combination of both advisory and principal activities provides us with insights many other pure-play advisory firms lack; we believe being an investor makes us a better adviser, and vice versa. We understand the longer term issues that may occur outside of a specific piece of execution work, and we can advise on preventing or planning for such potential problems accordingly.
- We recognise the importance of long-term relationships with clients, and we understand that a more profound relationship that has been built over time means we can often provide better and more suited advice. Whilst transactional and execution projects are the major portion of our business, a significant part of our work is for clients with whom we have a multi-year relationship, where we have advised and provided guidance through multiple stages of their development and on varying corporate and strategic issues.
- Our team is highly qualified: our five partners have over 100 years of combined investment banking experience, and all our professionals have significant experience over a number of years in the financial institutions sector.
